Flagship Builders Inc
BIO

In 1979 I completed my second year at Saddleback Junior College. With my two years complete and my baseball career over I was looking for a way to finance the remainder of my college education. I was fortunate enough to land a job with Surfside Builders as an apprentice mason and carpenter. In 1982 I was off to Cal. Poly San Luis Obispo with enough funds for my junior year. Between making sandwiches on campus and weekend construction work I graduated from Cal Poly SLO in 1984. It was my return to Surfside Builders after graduation on a temporary basis that I realized my career and future was within the construction industry. Paul DiGiovanni “ Mr. D” asked me to come back full time, out of the field, and help build his business from the inside. For the next six years my responsibilities included estimating, sales and supervision. I found that I really enjoyed and got a lot of satisfaction out of being a part of building projects to completion. I also found that I enjoyed the client contact and the creativity of the remodeling industry. From Mr. D. I learned first hand how to deliver superior projects while maintaining the highest level of service and integrity. With the support and encouragement of Mr. D. I started Flagship Builders in 1990.
